What does Motus mean anyways?
Motus is a polynesian term to describe small islets that are formed by the coral reef usually encircling a lagoon.
Coral Islands.
Small narrow islands made up by coral. Motus are a usual feature of the best
beaches in the
world,
with vegetation
such us tou, coconut tree, tafano, fara,
nono, atoto
which is home for many diverse
species
of fish and other underwater species.
